Just before the half term holiday each of the Year 4 classes took part in our very own ‘Amazing Race Saigon’. Teams were dropped off at various locations in District 1 armed with only a map. Their challenge was to use their navigational skills to get themselves to the agreed spot in District 1 by foot. There were many points of interest along the way including market stalls, famous landmarks and the daily hustle and bustle of the city. Needless to say, there were a few wrong turns but eventually all groups arrived safely and enjoyed their prize of one scoop of their favourite ice cream. The children’s behaviour was exemplary and they were brilliant role models for the school. What a fantastic finish to their Explorers and Adventurers IPC topic. Well done Year 4.
