We were very lucky to have visiting specialists: Mary Lower and Leon Bown who made the experience much more authentic.

A special shout out goes to Mr Leon who became our resident Hawaiian ukulele expert at very short notice, as well as spending a day walking like an Egyptian! Thank you both for sharing your time with us.

Not to mention our very own resident Scottish expert, Miss Louise – who provided some great activities and stories all with an authentic accent!

During the week we worked with 332 children who heard stories, sang songs, made flags, completed crafts and watched a volcano erupt.

The daily cut-out pictures were a big hit. Do you recognise any of these fun characters?

Cool Surfer girls and boys from F3I, 1B, 1I, 2N, and 4S.
