Year 2 Trip to the Bao Tang Ao Dai Museum

Year 2 Trip to the Bao Tang Ao Dai Museum Year 2 have been enjoying a new IPC topic, ‘All Dressed Up’. After learning about the weather and climate around the world, and how this impacts on the clothes we wear, we moved on to learning about clothes throughout history. This culminated in a trip to the Bao Tang Ao Dai museum.

Year 2 have been enjoying a new IPC topic, ‘All Dressed Up’. After learning about the weather and climate around the world, and how this impacts on the clothes we wear, we moved on to learning about clothes throughout history. This culminated in a trip to the Bao Tang Ao Dai museum.

Amongst beautiful surroundings, there were some traditional Vietnamese houses which had been set up to exhibit ao dais from different regions of Vietnam. There was also a large hall where children got to see some ao dais worn by famous people. As there were lots of interesting ao dais, the children chose their favourites and sketched them.

The Year 2 children enjoyed their time at the museum and now they will be able to use what they saw as part of their topic work. Year 2 would like to say a big thank you to everyone who helped organise this trip!
