Physical Education

At BIS HCMC we pride ourselves on offering a broad and balanced co-curricular programme. A wide range of sports are catered for through the standard curriculum and as part of our extensive extra-curricular programme.

In addition to the teaching of motor control and multi skills in the early years, we also teach the following traditional sports and physical activities within our Key Stage1-3 sporting curricula:

Athletics Gymnastics  T Ball
Badminton Long Ball Table Tennis
Basketball Netball Tag Rugby
Cricket Rounders Tennis

Students have the opportunity to participate in regular inter-house competitions in many of these sports and enjoy annual athletics days and swimming gala’s which prove to be hugely popular.

In addition to the sporting activities on offer, the older students in Key Stage 4-5 have the opportunity to plan their own pathway in sport and physical activity in areas such as Leadership, Elite Team Performance and Healthy and Active Lifestyles.
