Lower School Mathematics Achieves Amazing National Results!

Lower School Advanced Mathematics students recently participated in two different online math competitions and placed very well. In the Online Math League, a contest that's been running since November, Third Grader Aly Elsonbaty scored 14th place nationally, Fourth Grader Buckley Newbold finished 38th nationally, and Fifth Grader Kaylan Patel finished 54th nationally among over 1,000 students in each of their respective grade levels.

Following up on the completion of that contest, Windermere students competed against more than 17,000 students in 1,800 classrooms across the nation in a Sumdog National Math Contest.  Aly Elsonbaty finished 2nd in the nation, followed by Kaylan Patel in 3rd and Eshan Ali in 8th place.  Thirteen Windermere Prep students finished in the top 50 nationally, and Mr. Masem's Third Grade Advanced Mathematics class finished #2 overall in the nation! Congratulations to all the students who competed!
