The festival will be hosted at the Hua Quan Village, located in Jiangxi, north of Shanghai, China. Hua Quan Village is an art and cultural village located in Dragon Tiger Mountain, one of China’s most beautiful UNESCO World Heritage Sites. The village was created as a place for people of all walks of life to create their own personalized journey of creative exploration. Spanning across 41 acres (165,000 square meters), Hua Quan Village is one of the largest art and cultural centres in the world and houses over 100 of the local artists. The event is particularly recommended for those students who are taking Art and Design for IGCSE or Visual art at IB Diploma. Younger secondary students who have a particular interest in art are also invited to apply for places. This event is hosted by Nord Anglia Chinese International School and open to all Nord Anglia Schools in the China Region. ESSENTIAL INFORMATION We will be departing by bus from NAIS Pudong on Wednesday 6th November to Hongqiao Railway Station, then taking a train to Yingtan North which is the closest station to the art village. There will then be another bus from Yingtan North to the art village. Students will be accommodated at the art village from Wednesday 6th November until Sunday 10th November. We will be making the return journey on Sunday 10th November. Details of travel times will be confirmed nearer to the time. Students and accompanying staff will all stay in the Hua Quan Hotel which has 142 premium rooms. Attendees will share twin rooms. Professional photos and videos will be taken during the Art Festival, which will be made available to all participants and that by permitting their child to attend the festival they are agreeing to the taking and publishing of photos and videos.
