At Léman International School we endeavor to provide lots of opportunities for our students to get active, be creative, partake in service activities or delve into the world of STEAM or languages. Our after-school clubs program is an essential part of this delivery. Whether your child wishes to learn to code, to paint with watercolours, to play for a school sport’s team, or simply have fun swimming, we provide a wide variety of experiential learning through our clubs. Some students may wish to try an activity for the first time, while others may wish to pursue mastery in an area. Our aim for the clubs program is to enable our students to creatively pursue their passions or discover new ones. We believe that a balance in activities is important for the holistic development of our pupils so we encourage students to choose a variety in their club options. Our signup system, Schoolsbuddy, enables parents and older students to keep a calendar of activities, and see what they have chosen on each club day. Our clubs program complements the CASE study program for our MYP students as well as giving CAS opportunity to our DP students.
For the 2021-2022 Academic year clubs Season 1 will run from October to December and Season 2 from March to May. This year, for the first time we have decided to include our reception classes into our clubs program. We believe taking part will greatly aid in developing their social abilities, use of language and independence . Pre-nursery and Nursery students will be invited to take part in Season 2.
