In 2022 our graduates achieved record results in the IB Diploma examinations, once again.

We are immensely proud of our students’ academic success.

IB Diploma

Our 2022 graduates achieved record results in the IB Diploma examinations, once again. The average point score of 34  exceeds the worldwide average of 31.9 and has enabled students to obtain places in highly prestigious university courses.

Highlights include:

  • Two students scored a perfect score (45 points out of 45), which places them in the top 1% of Baccalaureate Diploma Programme candidates worldwide. 
  • 7 students from our school achieved 40+ points. This places these students in the top 10% worldwide. 
  • Our students are now heading off to some of the top universities around the world including the University of Oxford, New York University, the University of Melbourne and McGill University.
  • We are extremely proud of our graduates, not just for their exam results, but for what they achieved throughout their time here at BIS Abu Dhabi. Whilst completing the challenging IB Diploma Programme, our students contributed to school life in so many ways and have grown into amazing young adults as a result.

iGCSE / GCSE

In 2021, our students exceeded international and UK national averages in their GCSEs (General Certificate of Secondary Education) and IGCSEs (International GCSE).  

Highlights include:

  • 63% of all GCSE and IGCSE grades achieved were  A* or A or 9-7. This significantly exceeds the UK average of 28.5%.
  • 95% of students achieved five or more A*- C  or 9-4 grades, compared to the UK average of 77%.
