ENRICHING GLOBAL OPPORTUNITIES
A WORLD OF DISCOVERY AND GROWTH AWAITS YOUR CHILD

BUILDING CONFIDENCE AND RESILIENCE

At the British International School of Charlotte, school is a rehearsal for life! Building your child’s character and life skills are just as important as helping them excel in their academics.

We know that when students build their abilities and interests alongside their personal, social, and emotional wellness, they’re more likely to thrive. So, with our teachers’ personalized guidance, our students have everything they need for their future — and can successfully adapt no matter what life brings.

The life-shaping experiences at BISC create global citizens who think beyond school and contribute meaningfully to their communities. They embrace an ever-changing future, while being knowledgeable and considerate of our world.

SOCIAL AND EMOTIONAL HEALTH

LOOKING AFTER OUR WELL-BEING

Our dedicated and nurturing staff ensures your child will be supported throughout their academic journey here at the British international School of Charlotte.

Beginning in Early Years and Primary a wide range of “Skills for Life” are kindled and nurtured where students, teachers and parents work together to support and develop a strong sense of self in the world — creating the foundations in becoming a confident, successful, and contributing global citizen.

By Secondary School, each student is comfortable and confident as the driver of their education, collaborating with their teachers to define and blend personal goals in tandem with their academic growth to carve out a personalized pathway to reach their desired future.

CARING THAT DRIVES ACTION

SOCIAL IMPACT AND SELF-REFLECTION

Students build their global citizenship at the British International School of Charlotte by contributing to our community and considering their impact. From the Early Years, we focus on developing students’ empathy through numerous activities in the classroom. They then build upon this in Primary School, creating a foundation that motivates them throughout their service activities in Secondary School.

Whether your child wishes to bring their skills to the needs of local charities, design an invention that will solve a problem for others, or lead a discussion at the NAE UNICEF Student Summit in New York, they’ll strengthen their skills and create lifelong memories that will guide their leadership. Through it all, our students self-reflect on their actions, as they consider how they’ve positively impacted someone.
