The Primary Music Showcase

The Primary Music Showcase took place on Wednesday, November 15th and was a huge success! Children from Year 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 took part in an entertaining concert performance of music they have been learning at BSG. Particular highlights included the Year 6 Brazilian Samba Band, the Dance ensemble and Viva String Trio as well as strong solo performances of Chopin and Mozart on piano and even some jazz-funk drumming!

This concert will be the first in a series of concerts at BSG from the Primary Music department. There was also a special announcement of the Orchestral Instrument Programme that starts in January for every child in Year 5 and 6 to begin learning an orchestral instrument such as violin, cello, clarinet, flute, trumpet, trombone and even chordal instruments like the guitar and ukulele.
