Basketball

The Senior Girls Basketball Team had a fabulous time and great success last weekend as their season came to a close. The girls travelled to Salzburg to compete in the Annual Varsity Jamboree Basketball Festival. This is the toughest challenge in terms of competition that the girls are faced with each year, especially as they are still officially 'Junior Varsity'.

However, it was a great way to finish the season as the students finally received a well-deserved trophy this year and came 3rd overall. The team beat teams such as AIS Salzburg and, after a disappointing loss last week, got their revenge on QSI, beating them in the 3rd place playoff. With this success and the title DVAC festival Champions, the girls have had a challenging yet rewarding season. Congratulations to Ellie, Sara, Emma and Barbora (Captain), Elise, Veronika and Vicky.

See you next Season!
