BISB Celebrating Outstanding IB Results 2023

Our whole community is incredibly proud of our graduating students of 2023. Their tenacious approach to study over the course of the IB diploma paid off, with a pass rate of 94% and an average points score of 33.2, over 3 points above the global average. 38% of students scores above 35 points with 2 students, Lila and Runan scoring 42 points out of a maximum of 45; special congratulations to them!

Thank you to staff for their hard work helping to prepare our students over the 2-year IB course and for parents for their support. We wish all our students the very best as in the future and encourage them to keep in touch with us here at BISB as we'd love to hear how all our students are getting on as they embark on new adventures around the world.

Karen Eastwood, Principal at The British International School Bratislava said: "All of us here at the BISB are incredibly proud of the achievements of our IBDP cohort. Our students have shown exceptional resilience, hard work, and determination all along their two year journey. I’d like to also thank our dedicated and inspirational teachers for their role in helping our students make this year’s results so great.”

Joshua Cuttell, Careers and University Guidance Counsellor: "We are very proud of our Year 13 BISB Graduates, who have received outstanding IB results. This year, our students are heading to first-choice universities including Imperial College London, University College London, The University of Edinburgh, Seoul National University, Korea University and The University of Amsterdam. Congratulations to the class of 2023!"

We could not be more proud of you all!
