Friday was boys and girls Fusball held at the fantastic Elan indoor national track arena. Mr Cox run the boys and Mr Kelly the girls team. Both took first place with some very impressive performances - a special mention to Martin F and Greta D - top scorers for their respective teams. Also to Mr Evans for his ability to help coordinate schools on the day.

The following day was boys and girls basketball. Mr Pavlik continuing the great work with the girls team and Mr Cook and Miss Earey leading the boys due to their highly impressive coach, Mr Veljko, being unable to attend. Again, fortune favored the bold, and both teams went on to claim first place in an exciting and close run competition. Lucy K excelled for the girls team, displaying huge improvements to her game, and Lukas A stole the show for the boys.

There has to be a special mention to the Bratislava teams who created history for the first time in this competition by winning every single event - this is the result of many weeks of training and hard work by individual team coaches. I would like to thank Emma K and Barbora S in year 10 for being there on both days, organizing, leading and attending to visiting schools every whim. Finally a huge thank you to the PE team, whose dedication and commitment to weekend work and after school activities enables the success we now expect at BISB.

Well done everyone and we look forward to the KS2 event in Budapest.
