Young Entrepreneurs

As part of their Young Entrepreneur topic this term, Year 3 have been thinking about business. Working in groups they designed business ideas, cost out what they would need to make it successful, made or brought goods, ran their business and then counted their profits after!

On Thursday we ran a pop-up shop - we opened up a cake shop, a pizza shop, a 'decorate a biscuit' bakery.  There were hair, nail and beauty salons, competitions and activities, a photo booth and paper crafts and necklaces to buy.  We all had so much fun and provided an excellent opportunity to practice our speaking and listening skills, and our addition, subtraction and money skills.

Thank you to everyone who supported us in our venture - all profits, when they've been calculated, will go to Kramare Hospital as part of our 'Make It Right' challenge.
