As part of the newly introduced Juilliard Programme, Collège Champittet had the pleasure of welcoming John Marcus, a violinist and Juilliard alumnus, to give several masterclasses, as well as a concert on Thursday, February 9th.
The Collège is organising a Champittet holiday club during the Easter break.
Since the beginning of January students in grades 6, 7, 8 and 9 have been taking advantage of their Wednesday afternoons to go skiing.
Hello. My name is María José, I’m from Mexico. I am currently coursing the 13th year in Collège Champittet, with the International Baccalaureate programme. This is my first year here in the school and in Switzerland. Being new here has given me many experiences that I think I will always remember, and having had the opportunity of being “Principal for one day” has definitely been one of my favorite.
We left for Warsaw on Thursday 24th of November arriving in the evening.
During last autumn, Collège Champittet welcomed guest speakers from a variety of universities. Among the representatives, the students had the opportunity to meet Admissions Officers from ESADE Business School (Spain), Glasgow Caledonian University (UK), SCAD Art and Design (USA), Ecole Hôtelière de Lausanne and many others.
There was plenty of snow and sun at this year’s ski camp which took place in Valais.
John Whinder is our Head of Primary English and is currently in his third year of teaching at Collège Champittet.
