International Women’s Day

Women's success and empowerment are essential catalysts for a more equitable and thriving world, inspiring generations to break barriers and reach new heights of achievement. By recognising and celebrating their accomplishments, we amplify the voices and contributions of women, paving the way for a brighter future for all. 

At school on Friday the 8th of March, we are celebrating and raising awareness of the accomplishments of women in the past, and present and how women empower and continue to shape our future generations of children. 

We are going to raise awareness of International Women's Day throughout this week but especially on Friday where we are creating fun activities for staff and students throughout our school.  

There will be literature activities involving learning about successful women throughout history, various art activities including creating individual bookmarks of successful women, a quiz on famous women from around the world, facts on gender inequalities that still exist today but celebrating the huge strides women have made over the decades and celebrating their success. 

All set to raise awareness of the fabulous achievements of women in our world, raise awareness and inspire our students to believe that they can achieve whatever they set out to be!
