NAIS Pudong Scholarships

An Academic Excellence scholarship student is expected to be:

• Highly talented and academically ambitious in either one specific subject or across a broad range
• Keen to participate fully in the life of the school and beyond the classroom
• An exemplary role model for both peers and younger students

Our New Horizons programme also offers a choice of highly personalised pathways to our students to ensure they achieve success and prepare them for university or other choices beyond high school. We can tailor a programme which leads to either IBDP, IB courses, or an even more personalised study plan where needed.  Students with an exceptional approach to learning and/or leadership who are looking to enter the New Horizons course may also apply for scholarships.

We aim to develop these scholars via our unique collaboration with MIT and our engagement with UNICEF.

They will demonstrate excellent team working skills, natural leadership, show unwavering ambition for themselves and their peers.  They should be able to evidence participation in one or more sports either on or off campus, with either an emerging talent pathway or demonstrated success in the sport(s). 

We aim to develop these scholars via our exclusive collaboration with IMG Academy.

They should able to create and participate in a variety of performances and potentially have recognised qualifications from organisations such as LAMDA, ABRSM or similar. Students with creativity, curiosity, and cultural literacy that engage with the performing arts throughout their lives are eligible. 

We aim to develop these scholars via our exclusive collaboration with The Juilliard School in New York.

Leadership scholars will have discovered and developed their own capabilities through a range of experiences, activities, collaborative projects and challenges, both within and outside the curriculum, including social service projects, exchanges and conference participation.
