We champion STEAM subjects at North Broward Prep through fascinating in-classroom and beyond-the-classroom experiences, inspired and guided by word-class mentors and experts from MIT. In our robotics lab and MIT Makerspace, for example, our students strategically experiment and create new objects of their own invention, as they harness their critical thinking, teamwork, and collaboration skills. Our Eaglebotics competition team and Aviation Lab are just a few of the popular STEAM after-school activities where our students develop these skills further.

The North Broward Prep Entrepreneurial Studies Program is for high school students who want to be grounded in experiential business learning.
We pitch presentations to real-world investors and industry experts, solve real problems for current businesses and CEOs, and get mentored by local entrepreneurs in start-up creation, finance, sales, marketing, business and patent law, principles of funding, ethics, and branding. Our program fully equips our students with business and entrepreneurship principles.

This culture of change is prominently cultivated by our Safe Promise Club, an immense student organization with over 150 members founded by student leaders who wanted to ensure the entire school community feels welcomed. The leaders of our Student Government further ensure everyone feels equipped to call for changes that make all happier—like recently asking for cafeteria cups to be doubled in size, a seemingly small ask that truly made student satisfaction increase.
