Early Years Leader and Early Years 2 Teacher

    Sarah Harper

Before taking up my role at Compass International Doha I have been teaching in the South East of England for over thirty years. I have taught both the English Primary and the Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculums to pupils aged 3 to 11 years.  Having eleven years of senior leadership experience as both a Senior Teacher and Deputy Head, I am excited to implement and further develop these skills in my new international setting. This move also means that I am fulfilling my dream of teaching overseas and experiencing living in a different culture.

Originally form County Kerry in Ireland I moved to Doha in September 2012 with my husband and two children.  Faye, our daughter, is fifteen and is in Yr 10 in Doha College. Our son Charlie is twelve and he made the big leap from primary to secondary school in September! Although it took us some time to adjust to Doha life, we all feel very much at home here and we are delighted to have the experience of expat life.
