Frantic Assembly, known internationally for its innovative and hands-on approach to theater and its work on Harry Potter Live in the West End of London and The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time, will make its highly anticipated return to The Village School.
From September 19 – September 29, Frantic Assembly’s practitioners will mentor Village students on the foundational building blocks of theater. Students will experience firsthand Frantic’s one-on-one instructive approach, which encourages the idea of embracing the unknown to create brave, bold theater. Join Village for two open performances on Thursday, September 21 at 2pm and Thursday, September 28 at 2pm.
Highlights from Frantic’s last visit at Village.
During the summer time, vacations, pools, and fun are certainly on children’s minds. However, it’s also important to incorporate learning into their day. Summer learning loss, also known as the "summer slide," refers to the decline in academic and social skills that can occur when children are not engaged in educational activities during the summer months. Dana Sheridan, LPC, Lower School Counselor at The Village School, sheds light on this issue and offers practical solutions for parents to keep their children's minds active during the long summer break.
