BBGV Fun Fun 2016

On Sunday 25 September it felt as thought the whole BIS Family had descended on District 7 to take part in the annual BBGV fun run.

  • BBGV FUN RUN 2016 20
  • BBGV FUN RUN 2016 21
  • BBGV FUN RUN 2016 18

  • BBGV FUN RUN 2016 5

As diamond sponsors, BIS took pride of place at the heart of the action, with many people (BIS and none BIS competitors) taking the opportunity to pose in front of the BIS stand for a quick picture to mark the occasion.

Young and old BIS pupils, parents and teachers ran, jogged, walked, cycled and scooted around the 4km circuit in hot and testing conditions. Notable fast finishers included Mary MacAloon (Deputy Head Teacher at TX campus) who finished as runner up in the Womens race and Bailey Miller winning the Junior Girls race.

However, a massive congratulations should go to all competitors who achieved personal bests, personal goals and personal satisfaction of doing their bit for charity. Well done to all of those involved!
