Our IBDP results in 2026

Our Class of 2026 has once again outperformed all global averages, placing them amongst the top students in the world. As our largest cohort to date, we congratulate our 120+ graduates on this outstanding achievement, only made possible by their dedication and the support of their families and teachers.

This year, our students achieved an impressive 36.7 points, significantly higher than the global average of 30.9. Nearly 1 in 4 students achieved a score of 40 or higher, positioning them for the world’s leading universities. Two students achieved a perfect score of 45/45, making them the 20th and 21st BIS HCMC graduates to achieve a perfect score in 20 years of BIS HCMC IBDP history.

We are also proud to announce that the number of students attaining bilingual diplomas almost doubled this year, with 25% of students achieving the rigorous IB Diploma in both English and their home language, reflecting incredible linguistic ability and our commitment to nurturing home languages alongside English.

Our IGCSE results in 2026

Our 2026 cohort of 153 students, with an incredible 1410 exam entries, has significantly surpassed all UK GCSE averages. 1 in 3 grades (35%) were awarded at A*, with 2 in 3 (66%) awarded at A*/A. These top grade results are almost triple the UK benchmark for A*/A (Grades 7 - 9).

5 students achieved straight A* grades across all of their subjects, an incredible achievement and 15 times the UK average, while 30 students achieved straight A*/As, 8 times the UK benchmark.

This outstanding cohort has worked incredibly hard throughout their two-year IGCSE programme. These results are a testament to their dedication and the unwavering support of our academic team.

In addition to our Year 11 results, we also received results from 62 students taking IGCSE examinations early in Years 10 and 11. 52 Year 10 students took their IGCSE Mathematics exam a year early, with 100% securing an A*/A. While 10 Year 9 students received their IGCSE results in Mandarin, with an outstanding 100% achieving a top grade A*.

These results provide our students with the best possible foundation as they begin their first year of the rigorous International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP), building on the knowledge and skills gained during their IGCSE years.

With such fantastic mathematicians here at BIS HCMC, 43 Year 10 (Grade 9), students were entered into their IGCSE Extended Mathematics one year early with an outstanding 100% achieving A*/A.

Our primary results in 2024

Our Key Stage 2 results, from GL Assessments for English and Maths taken at the end of Year 6, are once again very strong and well above the average score of 100 for UK primary schools.

Our consistently high results reflect both the high-quality teaching and learning offered at BIS HCMC. They also evidence the strong partnership between students, teachers, and parents.
