LEAP News 3

Good afternoon,

The clubs started this week and it is wonderful to see so many children involved in the LEAP programme in both the Primary and Secondary school.  The school is buzzing after classes have finished for the day and I'm really proud of the range of activities the British School LEAP proramme has to offer and the choice continues to grow from year to year.

Yesterday I watched one of the new clubs in action, a Self-defence club for Secondary school students organised by Mr Burrows, a Primary school teacher new to the school.  It was absolutely superb and I'm sure that by the end of the term, the students attending this club will have developed some very useful skills.

As the LEAP programme begins, I just want to take the opportunity to say thank you to all of the teachers who have given up their time to provide these clubs for the students at the British School.  It is because of your hard work and dedication that the LEAP programme is so successful.

Happy LEAPing

Damien Blanchard

LEAP Coordinator
