DEVELOPMENT PLAN

NAIS Al Khor_Qatar_2020_308

Dear Parents and Students

With the end of the academic year in sight, we are busy reflecting on our progress and putting plans in place to further improve the educational experience on offer for September and beyond. I am pleased to report that we have filled all of our expatriate teaching positions and projects are planned to improve the NAISAK facilities over the summer.

One of the areas we are committed to further developing is our links with the community. From our strategic development plan, we set the four milestones to be achieved by the end of next academic year:

  1. Key communication with the community is inclusive of English and Arabic Language.
  2. Electronic communication with parents (email, text/Whatsapp, Facebook/Instagram) is optimised and a communication policy is in place.
  3. The school is better informed of community needs, resources and feedback (expertise amongst parent body, companies in Al Khor).
  4. A programme of events and regular opportunities based on community need is established.

Hopefully, you will have noticed an improvement in all of the above. We are currently finalising next year’s calendar of events. Once complete, we will ensure this is available through our website and on the NAISAK app. If you have not already downloaded the school app, please do so through Google Play or the Apple Store, as it has a lot of useful school information contained in one place.

I would like to thank the PTFA and teachers who have initiated many of the new events and activities that will be available for our students and families.

We always welcome feedback on how we can further improve our school. Should you wish to make any suggestions, please feel free to contact the school and/or leave feedback on the forms that are part of the ‘suggestions box’ located in the school’s reception.
