How does technology support learning?
Technology can allow students to construct their own understanding of information and encourage independence, self-direction and self-monitoring. We aim to keep our students up to date and on top of the ever-progressing technological world.
How do we use technology here?
NAISAK has a wide range of digital resources that it utilizes to engage our students with Information and Communication Technology (ICT). There are opportunities for students to learn ICT through most elements of our curriculum and students develop their technology skills to present, share, manipulate and experiment with their learning. We also provide students with online learning resources to continue their learning at home and during independent learning sessions.
A networked school
We have Wi-Fi throughout the school allowing students, teachers and guests to access information at ease. Communications Technology allows us to communicate quickly and effectively with parents and our community. We use our own NAISAK app, text messaging and e-mail as official forms of communication with parents. However, we also have a strong presence in using social media such as ‘Facebook’ to highlight our students’ achievements. We also welcome parents to contact the school via telephone or making an appointment whenever there are queries.
Global Classroom offers our students a platform from where they can safely share ideas, compete, learn and discuss with students from across our global community of schools. We promise that we will prepare our students to be confident global citizens, able to take their place in a world of the future and The Global Classroom is a first step in providing them access to the global world of learning experiences.
