I studied in both Dubai and England, graduating with a BSc and then getting my PGCEi through Nottingham University. I have been working as a Foundation teacher for 3 years at NAISAK. My first ever teaching post was at this very school as a primary music teacher, I am amazed by how much the school has grown since I joined in 2014!
Teaching students with such a vast mix of different cultures and backgrounds appealed to me when I first joined NAISAK. The strong community within the school made me feel comfortable and welcome and I’m proud to be part of the NAISAK family.
I am very excited to be part of the EYFS team at NAISAK as we embark on our journey of child-led learning. There has been a lot of exciting changes taking place this year and I am looking forward to following the children's interests in order to help them learn and grow throughout the year. I am excited at the prospect of children choosing what they want to engage in and creating opportunities to share their ideas and interests confidently.
My main hobby is playing the piano, especially composing piano covers of popular music. I have a real passion for cooking and love nothing more than hosting dinner parties for my friends. In my spare time I also enjoy going to Yoga, photography, travelling and blogging.
This year, I am looking forward to meeting all our new children and parents who will be joining the school community and look forward to the adventures that await us
