During my career, I have held several roles in the Southeast of England. I began my teaching career as a teacher of Business and Economics. Since then I have held the roles of Head of Sixth form, Director of Behaviour, Ethos & Culture and Assistant Principal. I am passionate about educational research and how we can use the very best evidence to inform practice in the classroom. I have also held the post of Associate Lecturer, delivering lectures supporting the training of new teachers in Buckinghamshire as part of a school-centred initial teacher training programme through the University of Leicestershire.
I hold a Bachelor's degree in Retailing, a PGCE and a Masters degree in Education. I have always believed in being a lifelong learner and self-improvement has always motivated me in my career. I completed my NPQSL in 2017 and recently completed my National Professional Qualification for Headship (NPQH) with the Ambition Institute in the UK.
My commitment and achievements as a teacher and school leader were recognised in 2020, as I was awarded a Fellowship (FCCT) from the Chartered College of Teaching. I am passionate about innovation, EdTech, and how we can support staff and students by using a blended learning approach. In 2019 I became a Microsoft Innovative Educator Expert.
I will be joined in Qatar by my wife and three children. I enjoy keeping fit, cycling, and taking part in most sports. I am excited to start the next step of my career at NAISAK where I can expand my influence and make a wider, positive contribution to children, families, and staff.
