I began my teaching journey in 2012 when I studied Primary Education with Geography at St Mary’s Teaching University in Belfast, Northern Ireland. In 2016, I felt ready to embark on my next adventure - moving to Qatar. Although I was somewhat nervous about moving to another country, that quickly changed with the transition to a wonderful school that allowed me to gain a range of experiences in primary and early years, as well as many leadership opportunities.
As a Geography student, I had a passion for global learning and enjoyed working with and celebrating a range of cultures and diversities. This is one of the main reasons why I enjoy working at NAISAK. I particularly admire the strong values and ethos of the school which promotes all students to be ambitious and grow into unique global citizens. My main interest outside of work is to travel, and this is why I enjoy living in the Middle East and promoting global learning.
As a teacher on the NAISAK team, I bring my passion into the classroom, and use my creativity and love of learning to engage and inspire all the pupils in my class to achieve to the best of their ability.
