My name is Sumayya Abdul-Cader. I completed my undergraduate degree in Nutrition and Health at the University of Roehampton in London. Upon completing my degree, I went on to work within a special educational needs school where I gained my first taste of teaching. I spent four years at the school before deciding it was time to make a move and take on a new challenge. I decided to further my career by joining a highly reputable mainstream school based in Kings Cross, which is recognised amongst the top 1% of primary schools in the UK for attainment.
After the school saw my great passion for teaching, they sponsored my training and I went on to complete my PGCE at the University of East London. I taught in Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 before joining NAISAK.
Outside of school, I enjoy travelling, keeping fit and cooking with my husband. I am the youngest of four girls and very much love spending time with my family.
I enjoy being a part of the warm and friendly NAISAK family very much. I believe that every child matters and has the right to an education, and love continuing my journey in Qatar!
