Daad Al-Madhagi

Year 2 Teacher

I completed my undergraduate degree in International Journalism at Liverpool John Moores University. Upon completing my degree I went to work as a freelance journalist. I then relocated to Dubai as I wanted to explore life in the Middle East, and since then I have not looked back. While in Dubai I worked as an English Nursery Teacher, and this great opportunity helped me recognise my true passion for teaching. From then on I decided to take the step to further my career and complete my teaching degree.

I attained my Post Graduate Degree in Primary Education with QTS (PGCE) at Birmingham City University in 2017. After that I moved to Qatar with my husband and daughter, and worked at another international school in Doha for 2 years as a Reception Teacher and a Year 2 Teacher. I truly enjoyed exploring and expanding my teaching skills, and I faced many challenges which have made me the strong, resilient and fun teacher I am today.

In my spare time I love to travel with my husband and two beautiful daughters; living in Doha has certainly made this hobby a lot more accessible! I enjoy reading, cooking and keeping fit.

I am extremely excited to join NAISAK as a Year 2 teacher. It is a great honour to be part of such a highly reputable and global school. I look forward to teaching within a diverse and vibrant school that has succeeded in creating a strong community, and a school that puts the child’s best interest at the heart of all they do.
