Kirsty Dinsdale is Deputy Head of Secondary at NAISAK, bringing a lifelong passion for education shaped by the inspirational teachers she encountered throughout her own primary and secondary education. Their encouragement, support and belief in her potential left a lasting impression and continue to influence the way she approaches education today. With a background in ICT and a strong interest in the role technology plays in shaping modern education, Kirsty is passionate about helping young people make the most of their individual strengths and achieve their highest potential.
At the heart of Kirsty’s leadership is a belief that every student’s journey is unique and that progress looks different for everyone. She is committed to creating a school environment where students feel safe, comfortable, happy and excited to learn, while staff feel welcomed, valued and supported. For Kirsty, strong relationships are fundamental to this: when students trust their teachers and feel understood, they are more likely to have the confidence to thrive. She also believes in giving young people space to make mistakes, learn from them and grow, while recognising that teachers are human too. Outside of school, Kirsty enjoys exploring Qatar’s coffee shops, going for walks, cooking and relaxing with a good Netflix series. As a new mum, she also enjoys spending time with her young daughter, while making the most of discovering new places and experiences in Qatar.
