I am very excited to be joining NAISAK and returning to Doha, having taught there previously for 5 years. I have been living in Singapore, teaching at Dover Court International School, a Nord Anglia school for the past 2 years. I love immersing myself into new cultures and have also been teaching in Madrid and Sevilla in Spain, which gave me a taste of dual language learning.
My recent roles include Year 6 class teacher, and the Student Voice, organising the Student Council, Eco-Warriors and introducing the role of Prefects; I really enjoyed getting involved in the day to day operations of the school. Throughout my teaching career I have always tried to be involved in school life as much as possible, whether it be coaching sports teams, organising school trips or leading after school clubs. I am enthusiastic, positive and wish to share my love of teaching.
Fostering a safe and comfortable learning environment are at the forefront of my teaching philosophy, ensuring every child can progress in my lessons. “Enseñar es aprender dos veces” – Joseph Joubert: “Teaching is to learn twice” is one of my favourite quotes. I am a firm believer in this as I always strive to better myself in everything I do.
I am thoroughly looking forward to continuing my career at NAISAK, to meeting new people and form ing long lasting relationships with my students, parents and colleagues. I am a keen sportsman, a huge Manchester City fan and love seeking new adventures!
