I graduated with a first class honours degree in Mathematics and Statistics from Kingston University London, where I chose an optional final year module involving Education, Theory and Practice. This covered the theoretical aspects of teaching, and involved enlightening placements across a variety of secondary schools throughout London. To further pursue my passion for teaching, I went on to complete my PGCE year, where my second work placement was based at an outstanding-rated school in Richmond. Having had a wonderful experience, I was offered a permanent job to stay on at the school, and after completing my NQT year successfully, I became a fully qualified secondary Mathematics teacher.
Throughout my spare time, I enjoy keeping active through the two sports I admire – football and tennis. I also have a passion for practicing and playing my acoustic guitar regularly. Another interest I have includes reading different types of books and journals regarding topics such as philosophy, sport and real estate.
Teaching abroad has always been a personal goal of mine, as I find the prospect of being able to teach students from all over the world an exciting and thrilling opportunity. I firmly believe that building strong relationships with all students positively impacts the classroom environment, and I am very much looking forward to meeting all members of NAISAK, a multi-cultural school welcoming people from all types of wonderful backgrounds!
