Daniel Kwofie

Chemistry Teacher

I have been teaching professionally for the past 9 years in three different schools in Ghana. With my background in Biological science (Chemistry Major) from the University of Ghana, I have taught both Chemistry and Biology in KS3, KS4 and KS5. I approach teaching with a personal mantra: “the classroom is my world.” This mantra inspires me to view the classroom as an arena of change where I influence my students to shape society. Because of my motivation, I embrace each classroom encounter with excitement as it gives me fulfilment. My interactions with students over the years have helped me to build an in-depth teaching experience.

I love teaching Science because I am curious, adventurous, like to deal with new challenges, experiments and projects. I also like to work with people, especially young minds; reasoning with and challenging them to go the extra mile.

Obtaining a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership and Management from the University of Ghana has helped me gain an in-depth understanding in my educational career and placed me in the position to handle all issues related to the field of education. I have been the lead Biology and Chemistry teacher for about four years now.

I love to play the piano and teach songs. I also like to read interesting books, travel to new places, and I like playing football. I also love to spend time with my family during holidays.

I look forward to teaching Science (Chemistry) at NAISAK. I already love the secondary team, based on the interactions I have had with some of them. I greatly align myself with the vision and mission of the school and believe it is the best place for me to work now.
