I began my teaching career in Adelaide, South Australia and after some time of experience, I moved to London to experience the world of teaching abroad, specializing in English, Modern History and Ancient History. I then moved to Germany to experience the German way of teaching, then the Greek Islands and then to Dubai where I was made the Director of Creative Arts and Head of Humanities. After Dubai, I spent some time travelling the globe until I was offered an interview here at NAISAK. A friend of mine working in Doha informed me that it was a great school and that Nord Anglia could be an exciting new chapter in my life, thus I arrived at NAISAK at the beginning of the 2019 academic year.
My number 1 passion is travel but travel to the dangerous and less common places around the world. My goal is to travel to 100 countries and as it stands, I am at 67 and by the end of summer 2022, I will be sitting at 90 countries visited. I have been on the road for 9 years and have had some great experiences, like walking on an iceberg in the North Pole and dangerous experiences like almost being kidnapped by the Taliban in Northern Afghanistan. However, those are the benefits and consequences of a partial nomadic life.
