    Stacy Bellingham

    Director of Special Education Needs

    Stacy Bellingham

Before teaching, I graduated with a BA Business (HONS) and worked in the field of Organisational Pay and Development. This reinforced how important it is for schools to prepare children and young people for the world of work by building the capacities required to be a successful citizen who can contribute effectively to society. This is when I decided to become a teacher.

    Laura Davis

    PE Teacher

    Laura Davis

I graduated from Sheffield Hallam University with a 2:1 BSc (Hons) in Sport Development with Coaching. After spending a year working in Sheffield as a Community Sport Coach, I decided to study for a PGCE in Physical Education. I have had experience of working in several schools within the South West of England before moving to Qatar.

I have a passion for all sports and the role they can play in an individual’s life. I feel sports are about enabling students to understand what challenges them and to identify the tools they need to meet the challenge. Participating in sport and being part of a team can help prepare all students for the future.

    Gavin Hall

    PE Teacher

    Gavin Hall

I originally trained as secondary school PE teacher and worked in this role for 2 years before transitioning to the primary setting and becoming a Primary PE specialist. I enjoyed both roles and gained a wealth of experiences working with a wide range of age groups. I believe that Physical Education is vital to the development of a child and that is the main reason I moved to my current primary role so that I could educate children from a young age and hopefully start to develop lifelong habits that will help them to lead healthy and active lives. I am very proud that I have the opportunity to raise participation levels amongst children and help create a thirst for PE.

    Christopher Randall

    Christopher Randall

Hi, I’m Chris, I used to teach Maths and PE in the UK. I am from North Wales and speak both English and Welsh. I have been a teacher for seven years in Yorkshire and love working with young people. My passion is Sports, I’m a keen golfer, cricketer and play both hockey and football in the UK. I am a big Liverpool FC fan too.

As a child, I competed in gymnastics and trampolining and represented my county in cricket and golf. Before teaching I was a swimming instructor and taught babies and toddlers how to swim. I enjoy cooking and going to watch sporting events. I am level-headed and remain calm in most situations, except playing competitive sports where I become very competitive. I also have a bad habit of telling very poor jokes. I have a big supportive family which I am close to. My ambition is to continue to develop my knowledge in inclusion and to see more of the world.

    Yasser Khan

    IT Teacher

    Yasser Khan

ICT is a subject that I have been passionate about from an early age. I completed a GNVQ IT course at high school which led me to do a BTEC in Computer Maintenance at college. From there I went on to studying a degree in Computer Information Systems at the University of Liverpool, UK.

I find IT a fascinating area of study because it does not only consist of computers, but a wide variety of topics within it, such as web development, databases, software engineering, and programming. For me teaching ICT is enjoyable as it has many real world applications and nowadays it has many different formats. It was these initial experiences and passion for my subject that compounded my thirst and desire to become a teacher of ICT, and subsequently enrolled on a PGCE ICT course in 2011 at Edge Hill University.
