    Stacy Bellingham

    Director of Special Education Needs

    Stacy Bellingham

Before teaching, I graduated with a BA Business (HONS) and worked in the field of Organisational Pay and Development. This reinforced how important it is for schools to prepare children and young people for the world of work by building the capacities required to be a successful citizen who can contribute effectively to society. This is when I decided to become a teacher.

    Todd Wain

    Director of Sport

    Todd Wain

I graduated from Liverpool John Moores University in 2008 with an honours degree in Sport Development before also completing my PGCE at Liverpool John Moores University in 2010. Prior to teaching, I worked in the field of sports management for a number of sporting organisations, most notably for the Tongan National Rugby League. I am moving to NAISAK from the British International School of Houston, where I was the Head of Physical Education. Prior to this, I worked at a secondary school in North Yorkshire as a Teacher of PE & Assistant Director of Learning. I am excited to join NAISAK to continue to develop the work that has been started on developing the concept based curriculum and the student-centred pedagogical practicesI am a big believer in Physical Education providing students with opportunities to develop their skills and understanding that then allows them to continue to participate in sport, physical activity and exercise. This is particularly true in International Education where we can never predict where our students will live at various stages in their lives. With each country having its own sporting culture, providing students with the conceptual understandings that underpin all sports and physical activities, I believe will help them in this endeavour.

    Laura Davis

    PE Teacher

    Laura Davis

I graduated from Sheffield Hallam University with a 2:1 BSc (Hons) in Sport Development with Coaching. After spending a year working in Sheffield as a Community Sport Coach, I decided to study for a PGCE in Physical Education. I have had experience of working in several schools within the South West of England before moving to Qatar.

I have a passion for all sports and the role they can play in an individual’s life. I feel sports are about enabling students to understand what challenges them and to identify the tools they need to meet the challenge. Participating in sport and being part of a team can help prepare all students for the future.

    Gavin Hall

    PE Teacher

    Gavin Hall

I originally trained as secondary school PE teacher and worked in this role for 2 years before transitioning to the primary setting and becoming a Primary PE specialist. I enjoyed both roles and gained a wealth of experiences working with a wide range of age groups. I believe that Physical Education is vital to the development of a child and that is the main reason I moved to my current primary role so that I could educate children from a young age and hopefully start to develop lifelong habits that will help them to lead healthy and active lives. I am very proud that I have the opportunity to raise participation levels amongst children and help create a thirst for PE.

    Christopher Randall

    Christopher Randall

Hi, I’m Chris, I used to teach Maths and PE in the UK. I am from North Wales and speak both English and Welsh. I have been a teacher for seven years in Yorkshire and love working with young people. My passion is Sports, I’m a keen golfer, cricketer and play both hockey and football in the UK. I am a big Liverpool FC fan too.

As a child, I competed in gymnastics and trampolining and represented my county in cricket and golf. Before teaching I was a swimming instructor and taught babies and toddlers how to swim. I enjoy cooking and going to watch sporting events. I am level-headed and remain calm in most situations, except playing competitive sports where I become very competitive. I also have a bad habit of telling very poor jokes. I have a big supportive family which I am close to. My ambition is to continue to develop my knowledge in inclusion and to see more of the world.

    Deepika Borges

    Secondary ESL Specialist

    Deepika Borges

I hold a bachelors degree in English Literature from Delhi University, India, a teaching certification from the University of Nottingham, UK and a masters in International Education from King’s College, UK. After working and living in Cambodia for 10 years, it was time for a change, though I wanted to continue being within the NAE family of schools. It was an easy decision once I understood NAISAK’s vision and knew I would be joining a highly professional team of educators and leaders.
