Kevin James

Director of Special Education Needs

I was born and raised in Llanelli, Wales where I was fortunate enough to have been taught by excellent teachers throughout my childhood. As a result, I always wanted to pass this on to future generations. I completed my PGCE in Primary Education in 2014; since then I have been teaching in Qatar. I have enjoyed taking on extra responsibilities, such as overseeing the student voice and in previous roles, coordinating mathematics for Key Stage 2.

Throughout my teaching career I have been heavily involved in the extra-curricular life of the school, leading sessions in football, iPads and chess to name but a few.  Outside of the classroom I am a keen sportsman. I enjoy taking part in a variety of sports including football, rugby and CrossFit. I am a huge Manchester United fan and always love to watch Wales play rugby. I am excited for the upcoming FIFA World Cup.

I am currently the Head of Year 4 and Primary Science at NAISAK. In this role I enjoy developing both students and staff across the school to prepare them for the future.
