I am a Physical Education teacher, born in London, grew up in Germany and studied in Wales. A well-travelled individual some would say. Having completed both my Undergraduate and my Postgraduate degrees in Wales, studying BSc in Sport Development and my PGCE in Physical Education in Secondary Education, I have enjoyed the Welsh way of life. Coming from a sporting background, PE teaching was my first choice for my career path.
Over the last 10 years, I have taught in Malaysia and Dubai, teaching in both the Primary and Secondary sectors. I have spent the last year in South London working in an all-girls school, which has been an amazing experience. In all of these schools, I have taken on various teaching roles, from Head of Department, Head of Girls’ PE and ECA coordinator. I have been fortunate enough to coach netball from grass roots to elite levels, which is a strong passion of mine. All of these opportunities have given me the experience and training I will need to help encourage and instill my passion for health and well-being in NAISAK students.
My love of sport and teaching has been coupled with playing netball at a high competitive level. I believe there is a sport for every individual, and that success is about working hard and trying your best to succeed.
I cannot wait to meet you all and begin my journey at NAISAK.
