Victoria Hughes

I graduated from De Montfort University with a BA (Hons) in Dance in 2007 and earned my PGCE from the University of Sunderland.

My love for dance led me to develop and lead different projects in and around my home town of Manchester, UK, teaching many genres to a vast number of people of all ages and backgrounds. I then moved to the wonderful and exciting city of Shanghai, China, where I led a successful dance programme for an expat coaching company that linked with international schools in and around the city. My experiences in the international school environment led me to develop my teaching career and bring my specialism of dance into the world of Primary PE.

I joined NAISAK from another Nord Anglia school, Dover Court in Singapore, where I implemented a successful dance programme from Early Years through to Secondary, ensuring the PE team were confident in delivering dance lessons themselves as part of the PE curriculum. Whilst at Dover Court, I was also heavily involved in building a PE curriculum to support students with additional needs.
