Korean Language Presentation in Secondary School
This past week with the help of our Korean teacher, Ms Hwang, we presented the option to Korean parents to have their children begin studying Korean once they are exited from our EAL programme. This continues our efforts to enhance our languages programme in the Secondary School. Korean in grades 6-8 further develops our already broad languages programme: Korean from grade 9 into our IB Diploma Programme, German from grade 6-10 and French, English and Chinese language and literature and language acquisition in grades 6 into the IB Diploma Programme.
Korean Parents were sent a survey and an explanation of the language programme and how this fits into our challenging IB Diploma Programme in grades 11-12 was explained. Please see the link to the PPT explaining the IB Diploma Programme at Léman (Click here to know more). See also the Korean/English summary sheet explaining the IB Diploma (Click here).
