Our Key Stage 3 curriculum supports our students through the transition to IGCSEs. It builds on what they’ve learnt at primary and encourages them to explore key concepts, processes, and skills in greater depth.
Teaching combines practical experiences and experimentation with reading, research, discussions, and the innovative use of technology, allowing students to learn at a pace and in a way that works for them.
All our subjects are taught by expert teachers, who make full use of our high-tech science labs, music suites, and other specialist classrooms.
At Key Stage 4, our students can pursue IGCSE or BTEC programmes. Your child will follow a tailored curriculum based on their academic strengths and interests, as well as their aspirations for the future.
At IGCSE, our students typically study nine or ten subjects, which prepares them for the next stage of their education. Alongside English, maths, and science, your child will select options from humanities, enterprise, expressive arts, languages, and sport subject groups.
IGCSE and BTEC qualifications are assessed through coursework, practical tasks, and formal exams. Some components are marked by our teachers and then externally moderated; others are assessed by exam boards.
