Swimming at BVIS

Swimming is an important life skill. At some point or another, we all encounter water and it is vital that we know how to act should we get into difficultly.

Swimming at BVIS As a school, we offer a swimming program during our PE lessons and it is compulsory for students to take part in swimming lessons.

In addition, swimming is a great way to keep fit away from the heat of Hanoi. Swimming has many benefits such as improving endurance, increasing muscle flexibility, regulating body weight, offering social outlets and, lastly, it is great fun!

As a school, we offer a swimming program during our PE lessons and it is compulsory for students to take part in swimming lessons. I would like to take this opportunity to reassure that your child will be swimming in a heated pool (up to 30°C) and the surrounding area is also heated as your child’s health and wellbeing is a priority to us.
