BVIS Intermediate Mathematics Teams finished 2nd at the Saigon Mathematics competition

Congratulations to the BVIS Intermediate Mathematics Teams as our top entrants finished joint 2nd at the Saigon Mathematics competition, held at ABC International School, this past Saturday.

In addition to finishing 2nd overall, the BVIS1 team had the highest combined ranking for the individual event with Kiet scoring the second highest marks out of all 68 students. BVIS1 also won the flagship ‘Relay Round’ and, while the students were disappointed not to be declared overall champions, both teams can be very proud of their efforts. The event was a great success and a good time was had by all.

Next up on the competitive maths circuit is the prestigious SEAMC tournament which will be held this coming February in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. BVIS will once again be represented at this event and we wish our young mathematicians the best of luck when it comes!

Mr Reid would like to thank the following students for their participation and efforts on Saturday. They did the school proud!
