Our first ever UK Universities Week kicked off with a fair featuring numerous top universities from around Britain. Our year 11 and sixth form students discovered a wealth of information, and it was great as well to have parents visiting the fair after school.
Sports fixtures have been coming thick and fast too, with the girls’ and boys’ volleyball teams off to excellent starts to the season. The boys did particularly well this week, and you can read about their victory here.
There have also been plenty of other extra-curricular activities going on: last weekend our year 11 geography cohort travelled to Mui Ne for their field trip, and this weekend all of our year 12s are off to the same location for leadership training as they aim to become our next group of school prefects. We wish them safe travels and some dry weather!
Year 11 IGCSE Geography Trip to Mui Ne
With only one week remaining until the end of term, your children’s first grade report of the year will be coming out next Friday. This will give you an indication of what sort of start students have made to the year, and what they have to do to reach their targets. I’m sure you will be pleased with the work they have done thus far.
Have a wonderful weekend.
