What a splendid week it has been here at BVIS. Our ‘Love BVIS’ campaign was launched this week and the school was awash with love hearts, posters, pictures and lots of conversations about the school. Of particular note was the small notes that the children have written to hang on the trees in reception areas. It was heart-warming to read such wonderful comments about our school from the students. Some selected comments include:
‘I love BVIS because it is where I learn to live as the worlds citizen’
‘I love BVIS because the food is delicious’
‘I love BVIS because we have generally kind and devoted teachers’
‘I love BVIS because all teachers and teaching assistants are super lovely’
There are hundreds more to read and if you get the chance please stop by one of the trees and take some time to reflect on what our children are saying about the school. The ‘Love BVIS’ photograph competition has also caused great excitement and the results will be released very soon. Good luck to the finalists.
As we know the most important people in your child’s life whilst in school is their teachers. Today the BVIS community came together to celebrate this day and fully recognise, appreciate and say thanks to all of our teachers who work so hard to ensure that your children get the very best education we can provide. On behalf of the whole community, I would like to say a very big personal thanks to all our teachers and all the staff in the school for their hard work, dedication and efforts in making the school such a great place to learn and to work.
I wish you all a very relaxing weekend.
