I am delighted to say that the school year has started exceptionally well and we have had one of our best starts to date. The school has been busy and vibrant, even the immense rain storms have not dampened the buzz and excitement you can feel across the campus.
Following feedback from parents about the bus service last year we have taken positive steps forwards in further improving our service to you as parents. We now have a full time bus manager on site and at the start of the year we carried out specific training for all the bus drivers and bus monitors. Early indicators suggest that these measures are already making a significant positive impact.
Over the last few months we have been working hard to develop a new website for BVIS. This is another exciting initiative for the school and we hope the changes will allow you even better and more convenient access to key information about the school. The work is almost complete and once we have agreed a launch date we will inform you of our new link.
It has been great to see so many familiar faces around the campus and we have a large number of new families who have joined us this year. On the back of our outstanding IGCSE and A level results we appear to be attracting even more families from around the city which is great news for the school. We regularly post news stories and updates on our facebook account so please take time to look at our postings and share with your friends and families.
