This morning was filled with fun, teamwork and learning as our Year 13 students facilitated the
BVIS Water Carrying Challenge
for our Primary school children out on the field.
Students from F2 to Year 6 worked together to fill and carry buckets of water across the football pitch as a simulation of how far some people need to travel and how hard they need to work to collect the water that they need each day. Students from Year 13I taught them about the importance of water and guided them through the activity with care and enthusiasm.
It was a hot and tiring activity that helped our students to think about how easy it is for them to access water each day. It was a fabulous morning of learning for everyone involved!
