Sports Mornings

This week we held our annual sports mornings in the Primary School. Each one was different, adapted appropriately for the age of the children, so that the level of challenge, range of skills and amount of competition increased across the school.

On Tuesday, all of our Early Years children practised their balancing, throwing, and jumping in a variety of fun activities. Many parents and carers came along to encourage them.

On Thursday, our Year 1 and Year 2 children also had a carousel of fun activities, with the added element of house points to be earned. Their sports morning ended with some running races and finals. Overall Hue house won.

On Wednesday we held the Key Stage 2 sports morning on the sports field at RMIT for the very first time. This created a far more ‘grown-up’ event for our oldest children and allowed us to provide a much higher level of challenge than in previous years. This time Dalat house won!

A huge thank you to our PE department for arranging the sports mornings in Primary, especially Ms Claire and Mr Tam, and to Ms Chrissy and the Early Years team for organising Tuesday’s event. I hope all the parents who attended enjoyed watching their children push themselves physically in their various activities and competitions.
