This week I have felt incredibly proud of our school in two ways:
- Displayed in both the Primary and Secondary foyers is the art exhibition for Nord Anglia Education’s “Global Challenge”. Children in the Primary school from Early Years to Year 6 have all contributed to our “Have a Heart” campaign.
In this week’s assembly it was announced that already, after just a few days, more than 30 million VND has been raised for Vietnamese children who need expensive heart operations but their families cannot afford them.
Thank you everyone for your generosity and please keep the donations coming! I have felt extremely proud of our caring BVIS community this week.
- Watching the marvellous Secondary “Wizard of Oz” production this week, I thought back to when the 4 students who played the lead roles joined the school back in 2011 and 2012. Their confidence and language skills have developed enormously resulting in their excellent performances on stage this week.
This process of development begins with the experiences we provide for BVIS students throughout the Primary School. Parents of our youngest children will be able to see their production of “Goldilocks and the Three Bears” on Tuesday 28th March at 13:45 whilst Year 4 parents will be able to watch their children’s production of “Alice in Wonderland” on Friday 31st March at 08:45
