A week to remember!

The final week of term two has certainly been one to remember as we have had special events for parents every day, sharing children’s skills and learning with them.

We have held four Lien Ket “exit points” during the week which are lovely opportunities for parents to be “hands on” alongside their children. Parents can experience for themselves the type of learning provided for their children at BVIS and find out about one of their children’s Lien Ket topics in more detail.

Year 5’s exit point on Wednesday for their Rivers topic:

Year 3’s exit point on Thursday for their Prehistoric Times topic:

Our youngest children performed to their families on Tuesday afternoon in their wonderful production of “Goldilocks and the Three Bears”. The performance was held in the school’s theatre with an appreciative audience. It was colourful and fun with all our Early Years children excitedly singing, dancing or speaking on stage for their families.

On Friday term two ended with a fabulous production of “Alice in Wonderland”. This classic British story was re-enacted with enthusiastic singing and acting by our Year 4 children. It was a perfect ending to a memorable week in the Primary School!

A big thank you to all our staff for arranging these events and thanks also to our parents who attended in such large numbers. We appreciate your support!
